Frequently Asked Questions

Why does white ink require 2 bottles?

White ink is consumed significantly faster than CMYK in UV DTF printing because it forms the opaque base layer on every transfer. Two bottles help ensure there is enough supply to complete initial training and early production runs without interruption.

What is the difference between the A Film and B Film?

The A Film, or clear base film, is the printable carrier film where the design is printed. The B Film is the laminate layer that is pressed onto the printed A Film to create the finished transfer. Both are required for every UV DTF transfer produced.

Can I order consumables separately after the machine ships?

No. Under the mandatory start-up consumables policy, orders will not ship until the required consumables are included with the machine order.

Do I need a licensed electrician?

Yes. The Audley 8030-3 requires a dedicated 220V / 10A breaker, and the electrical work should be verified before delivery day. [web:68]

Who is responsible for making sure the required consumables are ordered?

Dealers are responsible for ensuring the correct consumables are ordered alongside every machine so installation and training are not delayed.
