The Audley D1600‑4 Sublimation Flag Printer (4720 configuration) is a 1.6 m wide, four‑head dye‑sublimation printer engineered specifically for high‑volume flag and soft‑signage production. It uses four Epson 4720 printheads and CMYK sublimation ink to deliver rich color, deep penetration and sharp detail on polyester flags, banners and other textile applications at resolutions up to 1440 × 2880 dpi.

With a maximum print width around 1500–1600 mm, it is ideal for national flags, beach flags, feather flags, teardrop flags, street banners and soft signage backdrops. Rated speeds reach approximately 135 ㎡/h in 2‑pass mode, 105 ㎡/h in 3‑pass and 75 ㎡/h in 4‑pass, allowing you to balance throughput and print quality based on the viewing distance and application. A CISS continuous ink supply system supports long runs with reduced downtime, while the auto up‑and‑down carriage helps maintain proper head height across varying textile thicknesses.

The printer runs sublimation ink in a CMYK configuration and is designed for direct textile or transfer workflows depending on your finishing setup. It uses a two‑stage drying and heating approach—front and rear heating in similar flag printers—to stabilize ink laydown and drying, helping to prevent banding and cockling on warp‑knitted fabric, satin, mesh fabric and other flag materials. A standard automatic feeding system handles roll media and supports continuous production in garment factories, print shops and soft‑signage plants.

The D1600‑4 4720 configuration is driven by Maintop RIP (with Photoprint as an alternative), connects to a Windows workstation via USB 2.0 and runs best on a PC with an Intel Core i7‑9700K‑class CPU or equivalent AMD processor, at least 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD plus 1 TB HDD storage, gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0/3.0 on 64‑bit Windows 7/10/11.
